Celebrating 1 year of unique tableting machine Fette
On the 24th of June 2020 a brand new machine was delivered to our production building at the headquarters in Ostend. The Fette Compacting FE55 is a unique piece of technology.
The machine was put into service on the 13th of July, 2020. Over the past year, Fette has already produced over 100 million tablets. The machine mostly produces MetaRelax® tablets.
Some fun facts:
- The machine has a reached maximum speed of 180.000 tabs/hour
- Tableting in 5 different formats: 19*9,2mm, 23mm, 22*10mm, 11mm and double-tip 8mm.
- The machine has 45 outriggers and three pressure rollers
- Fette weighs over 4 tons
